MEET THE 2025-2026 GCSIG BOARD!
CO-PRESIDENTS

Koko Crawford
Hello! My name is Koko (she/her), and I am a fourth-year Anthropology major. I joined this club because I was passionate about healthcare but wanted to explore fulfilling career paths outside of medical school. Since then, GCSIG at UCLA has exposed me to a career in genetics and counseling that I am passionate about contributing to. I hope you are able to find the same joy I did when joining this club, and look forward to meeting you!
Caroline Ren
Hi! My name is Caroline (she/her) and I am a third-year MCDB major. I have always been fascinated by the field of genetic counseling, so finding out there was a student interest group on campus was such a delight. GCSIG’s meetings and events showed me the diverse variety of paths a genetic counselor can take and provided me with incredible real-life experiences and connections. I hope our club makes you even more excited about this career! Happy to meet you all :D

I joined this club because I have a passion for genetics and healthcare, and I was eager to start exploring the genetic counseling profession.
